A TRIP TO SANTA'S SCIENCE GROTTO
Primary 5, 6 & 7 pupils had a great morning on Thursday as they visited visit Santa’s Science Grotto. at the STEM Centre, Dungannon to discover how Santa and his Elves use science at the North Pole!!
The children has the opportunity to explore
1. Buddy’s White Christmas
Buddy has been busy experimenting to ensure there will be snow for everyone across the world because it’s easier for Santa to land his sleigh in snow.
2. Elfie’s Testing Zone
Ones of Santa’s best Elves has been busy in the workshop all year trialing out new experiments for a new toy called ‘My Mad Science Kit’.
3. Trixie’s Christmas Tree
Christmas Trees are hard to grow at the North Pole because it’s so cold; Trixie has created a new invention so each elf can have a Christmas Tree this year.
4. Mrs Claus Magic Dough
Mrs Claus spends her days looking after the baby Elves; to keep them happy she is making up some magic Dough for them to play with.
The children were very enthuastic about experimenting and creating through ICT and Science.
