We have had another successful term of the AR Programme.
Children from P3 - P7 came together for an assembly to celebrate their reading achievements this term.
Children were given a points target to achieve this term and they were rewarded for achieving their target with 85% or above accuracy in their quizzes.
In total 19/62 children from P3 - P7 acheieved their target for this term and got to chose a prize from the 'Lucky Dip' box.
All pupils have been quizzing on the books they have been reading and gain points on each quiz that they take and pass. All pupils have the opportunity to 'Go Shopping' at the end of the term and cash in their points on a prize or save them until next term if they desire a prize that is worth more points.
This term we had our first 2 children join 'The Millionaire Club!' Well done to Conor Donaghy and Yasmine Natur, who were awarded special jackets to celebrate their achievements.
The children have read a grand total of 15, 732, 348 words this year...so far!!
