FIREWORK SAFETY
Today, Police lady Sue visited our school to talk to us about the importance of being safe during our Halloween holidays. She reminded us to wear bright or reflective clothing in the dark evenings, how to wear our seatbelt properly in the car and that it is against the law to buy or use fireworks if you do not have a licence. Sue shared stories with us about things she has had to deal with over Halloween and how dangerous it can be. She told us about the importance of never talking to or approaching strangers or people we don't know very well. If someone asks us to do something we are unsure off we are going to tell them 'NO!'
Her advice has taught us a valuable lesson and we will all enjoy our Halloween holidays and have fun, whilst keeping safe.
