GOOD LUCK MRS GIRVAN AND WELCOME MR DONNELLY!
An ode to Mrs Girvan:
Oh Mrs G,
Where would we be?
Without you in our school.
we would all be lost,
not taking a pause
and all the pupils would be climbing the walls!
Oh Mrs G,
Where would we be?
Without you to teach us about farming.
We wouldn't know about tractors,
Combine Harvesters or Wrappers.
And our knowledge on health and safety would be alarming.
Oh Mrs G,
Who's going to drink all this green tea!
now, that you are leaving.
but sure it won't be long,
until you call,
and we see that 'World's best teacher mug' sitting steaming!
Oh Mrs G,
Please don't be a stranger,
as you start your exciting new journey!
we wish you the best of luck,
and don't forget to duck,
when Mr.Stork delivers your gift by the manger!
From all staff and pupils at St.Mary's we would like to wish Mrs Girvan all the luck in the world and we hope to see her and baby Girvan, happy and healthy, in the month of December. Exciting times ahead for the Girvan household!
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Mr Donnelly, who will be covering for Mrs Girvan until she returns. We are delighted to have Mr Donnelly join our staff and we hope he enjoys his time with us here in St. Mary's.
