Heat Insulation and Conduction - Primary 7
Our Primary 7 children completed a heat insulation and conduction experiment this week in class.
The children used cups made from a variety of materials to investigate how good each material is at insulating. The children completed a 'fair test' as they measured and used the same amount of hot water in each cup to ensure their results were effective and reliable results.
The children then used thermometers to measure the temperature of each liquid and explore heat loss over a duration of time.
The children recorded their findings and analysed the information gathered and discussed their results with the class.
