MODERN DAY CAMINO OF CHURCHES
As part of the build up to Ireland hosting the World Meeting of Families, you are invited to take part in a special event.
The Camino of Churches will be an afternoon journey to seven local churches where you will hear a brief and interesting history of the churches and development of faith in the area - as well as having some time for reflection and prayer.
You will follow the route in your own car. The Camino starts at 12:30pm, will include breaks for refreshments and end with a meal in Donaghmore Convent at approximately 6.30pm.
This event is being organised by The Martyrs PART (Pastoral Area Resource Team) which includes Donaghmore, Pomeroy and Termonmaguirc. The Camino route will visit all churches in the three parishes.
Please keep the date free to meet up and connect with family, friends and the wider community on this special occasion.
More details will follow nearer the time, but to help gauge numbers for the day, if you are interested, please visit register on our facebook page - Camino of Churches, fill in this form and return to the Sacristy or text your name and parish to 07909 882 372.
