Ulster American Folk Park Visit
7th Dec 2022
Througout this term, our Primary 7 pupils have been learning about life during the Great Irish Famine.
Today, the pupils embarked on a journey across the centuries and the vast Atlantic Ocean as they recreated the story of Irish emigration at the Ulster American Folk Park. The children started their adventure by discovering the stories of families and individuals who left Ulster and emigrated to America with hopes for a better life.
The children had a fabulous time exploring the houses and villages and gaining insight from the knowledgable tour guides along the way.
