ULSTER AMERICAN FOLK PARK
P5-7 pupils visited the Ulster American Folk Park, on Thursday 28th November 2013. This trip was in connection with their World Around Us topic - The Famine & Emmigration. The children had a guided tour of the park and had the opportunity to visit all the houses, shops and the Emmigration Ship. The children had a great experience and the trip made their topic much more 'real' to them. The Folk Park leader, said our children were, "the best informed and well-behaved class she had ever shown around the Park".
Well done children - you are a credit to St. Mary's and to your parents!!
