St. Mary's is a bully free zone! To mark anti-bullying week the children participated in an anti-bullying workshop led by our drama teacher Brian 'Busgy' Mc Mahon.
Bugsy discussed the different types of bullying:
1. Verbal
2. Physical
3. Exclusion
4. Cyber
He also discussed with the children about telling tales. We decided that it is not ok unless it is something really bad, could cause injury to someone or is dangerous.
STOP THE BEAT WITH YOUR FEET! This slogan encourages the children to stop the bullies by telling someone they trust and surrounding themselves with people who make them feel safe and happy.
